asus eee pc 904ha
ASUS’ Eee Box just hit the shelves here in America a few months back, and now the company is already pushing out a pair of successors. [1]
Engadget Chinese received the slide image above showing ASUS’ Eee PC roadmap. [2]
1) Why I chose to buy Asus eee pc 904ha - I considered several options, but the reputation of Asus won me over. [3]
Asus EEE PC 904HA have the same specifications as 900HA (1.6 GHz Intel ATOM N270 Processor, 1 GB RAM, 160 GB Hard Drive, XP Home) but have a 6-cell battery and the same casing as the 1000-series (notice the big frame around the screen). [4]
The device also boasts of 6-cell battery for a battery life of up to 7 hours*. [...] Specifically designed for those who are constantly on the move and require a portable productivity companion the new Eee PC(TM) 904HA delivers a generous storage capacity in the form of a 160GB SATA hard disk drive**. [5]
Inlaid within the chassis itself, the motifs are an integral part of the entire laptop and will not fade with time. [3]
Looks like the netbook market is starting to get heated — it’ll be interesting to see how this all shakes out over the next few months. [...] Both the Eee Box B204 and B206 retain the same overall design and processor (1.6GHz Intel Atom N270), but you will find a 256MB ATI Radeon HD 3400 GPU to complement the 1GB of RAM, 160GB SATA II hard drive, multicard reader, 802.11n WiFi, Windows XP Home, 10GB of online Eee Storage, gigabit Ethernet, four USB 2.0 ports, DVI connector and the freshly added HDMI socket. Guess we shouldn’t be surprised, after all, this is the same company that offers more than 50 models (not just configurations) of laptops. [...] What I think is that Asus is just what to confuse the customer, try pushing out a new model each week to distract customer from other brands. [2]
As is par for the course with ASUS, there’s nary a mention of price / availability. [1]
The use of a SATA drive provides fast data transfers and enables users to carry more data along with them than previously possible, while Intel Atom processor provides the muscle for productivity. [5]
I welcome the many choices, and most of the different eeePC are just minor configurations with different size and type of mass storage. [2]
