/PRNewswire/ — Ablation Frontiers, Inc., announced today that two important abstracts which evaluated its innovative Atrial Fibrillation (AF) cardiac ablation system were presented at the 5th Annual Heart Rhythm Congress. [2]

Ablation Frontiers, Inc., announced that two important studies, involving its innovative atrial fibrillation ablation products were presented by Dr. Lucas Boersma of the St. Antonius Hospital in Nieuwegein, Netherlands at the European Society of Cardiology (ESC) congress. [3]

Ablation Frontiers is committed to pioneering the treatment of ablation therapy by developing innovative, safe, efficacious, and cost-effective solutions for individuals suffering from atrial fibrillation and other cardiac arrhythmias. [4]

CARLSBAD, California, June 24 (HSMN NewsFeed) — Ablation Frontiers, Inc. today announced that two studies reporting positive findings about its novel atrial fibrillation catheter ablation system were presented at this year’s Cardiostim World Congress, a premier meeting for physicians that treat cardiac rhythm disorders. [5]

Sinus rhythm was acutely restored in 100% of patients and there were no major complications. [1]

All patients were treated with ablation therapy at the antrum of the pulmonary veins (PV) designed to electrically isolate them from the left atrial body. [3]

Using this new technology, a total of 62 patients underwent AF ablation for either persistent (n=23) or paroxysmal AF (n=39). [...] Dr. Murray’s abstract contrasted AF ablation results using a conventional ablation catheter with the aid of a 3D mapping system against his current approach using the new Ablation Frontiers System. [6]

Our products will allow interventional clinicians in community hospitals to perform ablative procedures now only conducted by a select few specialists in elite hospitals. [4]

CARLSBAD, California, October 29 /PRNewswire/ — Ablation Frontiers, Inc., announced today that two important abstracts which evaluated its innovative Atrial Fibrillation (AF) cardiac ablation system were presented at the 5th Annual Heart Rhythm Congress. [6]

Dr. Stefan Weber of the University Clinic at Regensburg, Germany, presented results of a study of 12 patients with paroxysmal atrial fibrillation (PAF). [5]

“Use of the GENius generator and a single PVAC catheter for mapping, ablating and confirming isolation reduces the risk of complications and streamlines the procedure by eliminating the need for elaborate mapping and imaging technology. [3]

“In light of the clinical success rates, significantly reduced complication rates, and reduced procedure times, our center is fully adopting this new technology,” stated Dr. Murray. [1]

“We found that mapping and ablation of the pulmonary veins using a single catheter, without 3D navigation or robotic steering, could be performed safely and effectively with short procedure times,” stated Dr. Weber. [5]
