SALT LAKE CITY — Kevin Garnett suffered a posterior muscle strain of the right knee in the Celtics ‘ 90-85 loss to Utah on Thursday night, the Boston Globe reported Saturday. [1]

Reggie Miller said during a recent radio appearance that Kevin Garnett could play if the Celtics advance to the second round, but coach Doc Rivers isn’t optimistic. [2]

This news comes after the only threat to the Cavs, the Celtics, suffered an injury to their second best player and biggest defensive presence: Kevin Garnett. [3]
