true blue kentucky

Stay tuned to Kentucky Ink for more later tonight/tomorrow morning on the Cats first win of the season. [1]

It’s Game Day, which explains the blue and white pompons in the dining room chairs and the fact that almost every resident is dressed in some decidedly familiar shade of Kentucky blue with a tasteful smattering of Kentucky white. [2]

Had it not been for a turnover, and some miscues in the kicking game, this game could have been much much worse. [1]

It was an upset to everybody but the Cats (8-5), who, true to form, were pregame believers. [3]

Although the D-line needs to show the ability to get in on the quarterback more consistantly, the effort shows that this defense could be much better than what has been fielded since 2002. [1]

“If the game was played on paper, we’d have got blown out 50-0 or something like that,” Woodyard said. [...] The Wildcats made believers out of Clemson yesterday, beating the Tigers 28-20 in the Music City Bowl for UK’s first bowl victory in 22 years and its fifth victory in its final six games this season. [3]

Alice Jean had to replace them, as she absolutely must have four cheerleaders - to spell out C-A-T-S. Marj Kohler and Earle Dixon have done beautifully as the T and the A, while Alice Jean remains the C and Ernie Toth, Helen’s widower, is the S. Ray is always the guy who holds up the blue and the white at the appropriate time. [2]

On the next play, quarterback Andre’ Woodson — named the Music City Bowl MVP after a 20-for-28, 299-yard, three-touchdown performance — threw over the top to wide receiver DeMoreo Ford for a 70-yard touchdown play. [...] “We don’t play through the paper. [...] “I thought Kentucky played a little better than the score indicated,” Bowden said. [3]

That is, post the notice to the rest of the community to wear the colors and get down to the dining room at the appointed time. [...] But when the manager left, Alice Jean, a “basketball maniac,” according to her husband, asked if she could get some folks together to carry on the tradition. [...] This time to rally them past Tennessee, a game that will start at 1 p.m. [2]

“The (defense) took the challenge like they have for the most part of the second half of our season,” coach Rich Brooks said. [3]

Yes, if it’s the right fat, says naturopath Bruce Fife, ND, author of Eat Fat Look Thin. [6]

Over the last twenty years, registered dietitian and obesity specialist Diane Kress has helped thousands control their weight, but her long-term analysis revealed that forty-five percent of her patients struggled to lose weight, no matter their level of commitment. [2]

In this book the reader (dieter) finds a clear, understandable guide to overcome our past diet failures. [1]

His own experience with coconut oil produced a gradual weight loss over six months of about 20 pounds, which he’d been unable to lose previously through diet and exercise. [6]
