Frank William Abagnale, Jr. (born April 1948) was an impostor for five years in the 1960s. [1]

His French Algerian mother, Paula, and father, Frank Abagnale Sr., divorced when he was 16, and afterwards he would be the only child of whom his father would gain custody. [2]
