But when he signed on to make his feature directing debut with Zombieland, Fleischer — who's graduating from commercials, music videos, and documentaries — turned to a trio of hip flicks for inspiration: 28 Days Later, Shaun of the Dead, and the Zack Snyder version of Dawn of the Dead. [3]

Biography: Vince Gill paid nearly a decade and a half of dues en route to becoming one of the most popular country stars of the ’90s. [3]

Vincent Grant “Vince” Gill (born April 12, 1957) is an American neotraditional country singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist. [4]

He has won 17 Country Music Awards and 14 Grammy Awards and sold millions of records. [1]

Gill has recorded more than twenty studio albums, charted over forty singles on the U.S. Billboard charts as Hot Country Songs, and has sold more than 22 million albums. [4]

In high school, Gill played in the bluegrass band Mountain Smoke, which gained enough of a local reputation to open a concert for Pure Prairie League. [1]

He has achieved commercial success and fame both as frontman to the country rock band Pure Prairie League in the 1970s, and as a solo artist beginning in 1983, where his talents as a vocalist and musician have placed him in high demand as a guest vocalist, and a duet partner. [4]

On October 25, 2008, Gill will be one of the only country artists ever to perform in Walt Disney Concert Hall in Los Angeles. [4]

dinosaurs aren t extinct they re just hiding

Wednesday, September 30th, 2009

Paleontologists say this represents the final proof that dinosaurs were ancestral to birds. [1]

There are many theories about why dinosaurs became extinct. [2]

GURPS Dinosaurs is a bestiary and chronology of the “big, fierce and extinct” from the trilobites of the Paleozoic to the early tool-users of the Pleistocene. [3]

Movies are pure fantasy as we all know, and although many movies featuring dinosaurs attempt to integrate art with science, they are ultimately not science, and so should be taken as fiction. [4]

There are NO flying dinosaurs except for birds, which descended from meat-eating small dinosaurs. [2]

You hopefully have realized by now that dinosaurs (except birds) are almost certainly extinct forever. [4]

Scientists say they have found fossils near the Colorado-New Mexico border that prove some dinosaurs survived the mass extinction that most researchers believe was caused by a meteor impact 65 million years ago. [1]

A prime example would be the movies and novels Jurassic Park, The Lost World and Jurassic Park III by the eminent author Michael Crichton and movie director Steven Spielberg. [4]

A feathered dinosaur unearthed in a Chinese quarry has added another solid piece of evidence to the theory that birds descended from dinosaurs. [1]

The weather was colder than he’d expected, most of the plants and small animals he’d seen had looked suspiciously modern, and he suspected that the insects were rapidly evolving a strain immune to his Pestguard. [3]

… remember when indulging in these wonderful productions that although they are really the only way we can see dinosaurs (except birds), the “contemporary ideas” used to illustrate them aren’t always established scientific fact. [4]

We don’t know which dinosaur was the very last ‘ Triceratops and T. rex were among the last 65 million years ago. [2]

The creature, described in a paper [pdf] in Nature, was covered in the short feathers known as “dino-fuzz,” and had longer feathers on both its forelimbs and its back legs that formed primitive wings. [1]

I wasn’t there, but I guess that the asteroid which crashed into the Gulf of Mexico didn’t help, but I think the weather was getting more extreme anyway; perhaps diseases were spreading across newly united continents; perhaps volcanoes were erupting and many other factors we don’t even know about might have contributed to the death of dinosaurs. [2]

Yes, there was a group of animals called dromaeosaurs which included animals such as Velociraptor. [4]
