The Ronald McDonald House of Delaware provides a safe, affordable “home away from home” to families of seriously or chronically ill or injured children who are being treated at area hospitals and operates 3 Ronald McDonald Family Rooms within pediatric units of hospitals across Delaware. [1]
St. Louis’ three Ronald McDonald Houses serve as a “home-away-from-home” for families with a seriously-ill child being treated at area hospitals, and provides support to organizations that serve the needs of children. [2]

Cincinnati’s Ronald McDonald House allows families to remain close by their children receiving medical treatment at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center. [4]
Throughout the month of July, the Ronald McDonald House is decorated in white lights purchased with a $10 donation. [5]
Ronald McDonald House at Stanford creates a home-away-from-home and supportive community for families of children with life-threatening illnesses receiving specialized treatment at local hospitals. [6]

Team RMH participants are training to run and walk in the Big Sur Half Marathon while also raising money to benefit the programs and services at the House. [6]
The Houses are designed to bring the comforts of home to families far away from their own homes with a comfortable bed, a warm meal, kitchen and laundry facilities, and toys for the kids. [2]

The Ronald McDonald House also operates 3 Family Rooms at Bayhealth Kent General, Christiana Care and Nemours/Alfred I. duPont Hospital for Children to provide a respite space away from the child’s hospital bedside. [1]
Our volunteers provide all of the necessary guest services that make this House a “home away from home” for more than 1,100 families each year. [4]
