parker lewis can t lose

On September 2 1990, just in time for the beginning of my junior year of high school, Fox debuted a new show called Parker Lewis Can’t Lose. [1]

Parker grows brainwashed enough that Mikey and Jerry can no longer depend on Parker causing quite a ripple in the “Parker Lewis Can’t Lose” Universe. [2]

Parker plays Cupid for Musso and Dr. Pankow (Gerrit Graham) but finds his aim is off when he hears Pankow plotting against her. [3]

For most teenagers, high school is filled with obstacles nearly impossible to traverse. [1]

Long after the film you won’t be able to forget even the smallest character….From the sozzled American journlalist (played with exceptional sensitivity by Corin Nemec) to the Muslim couple (Raj Zutsi and Sheeba Chadha), every actor moves beyond camera range to make a place in the deepest recesses of the heart. [1]

At the same time Parker finds love in a new girl (who turns out to be the same girl). [2]

For a cool high school kid and his friends, thwarting authority figures and other enemies is not a problem. [4]

As Parker, Jerry, and Mikey stumble across the hidden radio station they feel they need to bring it back to life. [2]

Of course, that does not mean Principal Grace Musso (Melanie Chartoff) will give up her attempts to foil the Buds’ plans to maintain total coolness! [1]

Being a true bud Parker steps aside and helps Mikey out in asking her out for a date. [...] With the upcoming class of 1970 High School reunion coming up some surprising characters show up. [...] Parker’s attention meanwhile is focused on Grace Musso more than ever as she is bent on having Parker make up 3 months of missed first period classes. [2]

This particular episode resonated with me to the point that even 18 years later I still remember Mikey’s heart-wrenching song “I’ve Known You all of My Life” from it. [5]

Parker Lewis is a force to be reckoned with in whatever he does. [2]
