Joystiq is reporting that PSN will be going down for essential maintenance from 11 AM to 4 PM Pacific Tuesday. [1]
Those of you trying to go online right now will see that the PSN is currently down. [2]

They are just doing prep work on the store for the next update which probably requires some serious recoding considering they are changing the overall functions of the store for the PSP’s new direct connection to it. [1]
