Sony will only say that it is due to “routine maintenance” but a lot of rumors are flying about that this is prep for the launch of the new firmwares for PSP and PS3. [...] So I have it on good authority (well a post on the official PS blog) that the European PSN is down from 02:00 today(14th) until 02:00 tomorrow (15th) – not being near my PS3 I am unable to verify this 100%.
