In the first episode of Kell on Earth we are introduced to the PR team, including the effervescent Robyn, the ultra glossed Ativan-pushing Andrew S, and the dynamic dirty-blonde duo Stefanie S and Stephanie V (PR tends to hire people with the same moniker, thus promoting the kindergarten classroom practice of attaching a final initial to someone’s name in the event of doubling). [...] Last night marked the premiere of Bravo’s latest magnum opus, Kell on Earth, a sassier Hills-esque show documenting the day-to-day happenings at Kelly Cutrone ’s renowned PR firm People’s Revolution. I’d easily be the first person to stand up and say that Stefanie Skinner has taught me how to survive in the People’s Revolution office, but I’m happy to be the person who is now here to tell her enough is enough. [3]
When the senior staff leaves for London, Skinner, Tandrew and I are pretty much left on our own in the office, feeling majorly understaffed and pretty lost. [...] So after watching this episode I’ve decided to focus this week’s blog on my relationship with Andrew “Tandrew” Serrano. [...] While we couldn’t really be more different in our appearance and general demeanor, the image of him in his SUPER-deep V-neck highlighter orange t-shirt radiating against the deep bronzy color of his skin, paired with white jeans nonetheless, still haunts me to this day, we still grew close to each other. Not only does she always seem to suck it up and get all of her work done by the end of the day, even if that means extending her hours to catch up on the work of employees who have passed away (and out of our homey little office on Grand St.), but she also holds her own when being attacked by certain members of the senior staff. Not like this is news to any of you guys, but I’d like to start off by confessing my absolute and undying love and admiration to the one, the only, Stefanie Michelle Skinner. [3]
The spunky sleep-deprived brunette is, in my opinion, much more puzzling than anything in Avatar, although unlike the big screen blockbuster, I think I might have made some progress in understanding her mystique. [2]
