Only two months until BATMAN #700! [1]

When DC Comics decided it was time to kill off Bruce Wayne, they knew a new Batman would have to take up the crown. [2]

I could say that Batman and Robin plays less like a superhero movie and more like an episode of Queer Eye for the Hero Guy; but that doesn’t quite capture the true level of putrid that this film reaches. [3]

He escapes after stealing a diamond, firing a rocket (which was destroyed by Batman and Robin) and freezing a power plant. [4]

Revealing mistakes: In the standoff between Ivy, Batman and Robin, Robin is seen to emerge from a puddle of water. [5]

Illustrator Frank Quitely and Morrison created a Batman and Robin duo that stands in sharp contrast to the Batman stories we’ve seen post Frank Miller’s Batman: The Dark Knight Returns. [2]

Batman & Robin is a 1997 superhero film directed by Joel Schumacher. [4]

As the landmark issue nears, Dick Grayson’s life as The Dark Knight heats up in a big way. [1]

Batman and Robin Deluxe Edition, Vol. 1: Batman Reborn collects the first six issues of Dick Grayson’s sojourn as Batman. [2]

Based on the DC Comics character Batman, the film is a sequel to Batman Forever (1995), with George Clooney replacing Val Kilmer as Batman. [4]

The debut of the series follows the events of Batman R.I.P., Final Crisis, and Battle for the Cowl in which the original Batman, Bruce Wayne, apparently died at the hands of DC Comics villain Darkseid and features the winner of the Battle for the Cowl as the new Batman. [6]

Morrison is a pretty nutty writer and really needs a graceful artist like Quietly to pull off his storylines and action. [7]

Development for Batman & Robin started immediately after Batman Forever, and Warner Bros. [4]

This Batman couldn’t be the left-field choice of Jean-Paul Valley, aka Azrael, who took over the role of Batman post-Knightfall (when Bane ‘broke’ Bruce Wayne’s back). [2]
