Natalee Holloway, an 18-year-old graduate of Mountain Brook High School in Birmingham, Alabama, traveled to the Caribbean island of Aruba with 125 members of her senior class. [1]

This, on the heels of hidden camera footage broadcast in the Netherlands showing Dutch student Joran Van Der Sloot saying he was with Natalee Holloway when she collapsed on a beach in Aruba. [2]

Thus is the case with the following one regarding possible astro-turf anti-Tea Party site and the Natalee Holloway Aruba the Truth site. [3]

Aruban authorities have called off a dive team’s search for the remains of Natalee Holloway after two days of searching the waters off Aruba proved fruitless, a spokeswoman for the Aruban prosecutor said Wednesday. [4]

For those that followed this site during the height of the Natalee Holloway disappearance in Aruba, this is exactly what they Aruba officials and AHATA, the hotel and tourism folks did in creating Aruba the Truth, a pseudo info web site used to combat Scared Monkeys and other sites with pro-Aruba government propaganda to lessen the blow of the impact negative and truthful news had on their tourism. [3]

A Dutch man once considered a suspect in the 2005 disappearance of Alabama teenager Natalee Holloway has told a television station he dumped her body in a swamp, Aruba’s chief prosecutor told CNN. [4]

Using an underground network of hidden cameras, a Dutch journalist claims to have solved the case of the disappearance of Alabama teen Natalee Holloway in Aruba. [1]

A Dutch court has ruled that — at this time — there is not enough evidence to re-arrest Joran Van Der Sloot in the disappearance of Natalie Holloway. [2]

Natalee Ann Holloway (born October 21, 1986) disappeared on May 30, 2005, during a high school graduation trip to Aruba, a Caribbean country within the Kingdom of the Netherlands. [...] Upon further investigation by authorities, Van der Sloot was arrested twice on suspicion of involvement in her disappearance and the Kalpoes were each arrested three times. [...] She was last seen by her classmates outside Carlos’n Charlie’s, a Caribbean chain restaurant and nightclub in Oranjestad, in a car with locals Joran van der Sloot and brothers Deepak and Satish Kalpoe. [5]

Witnesses said Natalee was last seen leaving a nightclub in a car with three males — Joran Van Der Sloot, 17; Deepak Kalpoe, 21, and Satist Kalpoe, 18. [1]

Ethan was originally reported missing by his mother, newly married Stephanie Sloope, and her husband of 10 days, Nathan Sloope. [3]

Aruban authorities announced that they have made an arrest in connection with the disappearance of Natalee Holloway, but typically they would not say who was arrested and how they were connected to the case. [1]

Of course, she has made much different headlines as the mother of Natalee Holloway, who disappeared in Aruba during the summer of 2005. [6]

lakers vs suns game 5

Friday, May 28th, 2010

Kevin Arnovitz, TrueHoop: The Suns are unusual in that Alvin Gentry doesn’t install a traditional rotation. [1]

Channing Frye had 14 points, including four threes, off the bench for the Suns in Game 4. [2]

But they have become more at peace with that as the Western Conference finals have moved along, and now fully realize they can beat the Lakers even when Bryant comes up very big. [3]

Last spring, the Lakers won pivotal Game 5s at home in the playoffs to break 2-2 ties against Houston and Denver en route to winning the championship. [4]

Suns reserves like Louis Amundson (7 points, 7 rebounds) accounted for 54 points and 23 rebounds in Game 4. [5]

No player I can think of has been so widely eviscerated for his play on the defensive side of the ball as Stoudemire has been since Game 1. [6]

Lakers forward Ron Artest (center) is engulfed by his teammates after making a last-second basket to give L.A. 103-101 victory over Phoenix in Game 5 on Thursday night at Staples Center. [7]

Amudnson did yeoman’s work up top screening for his guards (and snuck behind the Lakers’ bigs for a couple buckets of his own). [1]

After shooting 33 three-pointers and getting to the line 56 times in Games 1 and 2, the Lakers launched 60 threes and earned only 33 trips to the foul line in their last two losses. [2]

True, the Suns’ wins in the last two games were at home, enabling them to tie the series 2-2 entering Thursday night’s pivotal Game 5 in Los Angeles. [3]

The Suns’ Jared Dudley guards the Lakers’ Kobe Bryant during Game 4. [8]

They don’t rotate and recover particularly well, and given how adeptly the Lakers move the ball — everyone in the starting lineup save Andrew Bynum is an above-average-to-elite-level passer — double teams become very problematic. [6]

But late in the game the Suns started sending kamikaze double teams at him to get the ball out of his hands (same with Gasol) - let anyone else try to beat them, but not Kobe. [1]

But the Suns aren’t the Rockets, who were staggering last spring without injured center Yao Ming. [4]

“We just weren’t going to put all our effort on trying to stop Kobe,” Suns coach Alvin Gentry said after practice Wednesday. [3]
