The Halo Corporation is a fictional company appearing in Wildstorm comics. [...] In 1990, Jacob Marlowe was a homeless man, amnesiac and often drunk, living on the streets of New York City. [1]
This didn’t last long though, and Savant and Majestic soon left the WildC.A.T.s and control of Halo was returned to Emp (after Void wiped his mind of the things he’d learned on Khera that had caused him to quit in the first place). [2]
The Halo Corporation was founded by Jacob Marlowe. [3]
It was founded in the early 90’s by Emp (going by the name Jacob Marlowe) after Void found him (living on the street at the time) and told him of his Kherubim heritage. [2]
For Marlowe the Halo Corporation was first and foremost a way to finance the WildC.A.T.s, a group of superhumans (most of them descendants of Kherubim like himself) who battle the Kherubim’s enemy, the Daemonites. [1]
Almost as soon as Emp was put back in charge however, Miles Tsabo decided to step in and take over the company. [2]
Chevron Corporation is a multinational integrated energy company based in the United States. [4]

Jacob Marlowe left the Halo Corporation to Spartan, who took the name Jack Marlowe and posed as a relative of Jacob. [3]
