That’s the question that Egyptian democracy leader and Nobel laureate Mohamed ElBaradei has put before Western leaders today. [5]

Elbaradei’s tenure has been marked by high profile non-proliferation issues including the inspections in Iraq preceding the March 2003 invasion and tensions over the nuclear program of Iran. [3]

philadelphia eagles cheerleaders

Sunday, January 30th, 2011

On Sunday, January 2nd, Tiffany was awarded the prestigious honor of representing the Eagles Cheerleaders at the 2011 Pro Bowl in Honolulu, Hawaii. [1]

One of her most significant contributions was a recent video montage uploaded on YouTube of 136 former Eagles cheerleaders performing together at Central High School in Philadelphia. [2]

After being diagnosed with breast cancer in 2006, Mrs. Hill became involved with the Philadelphia Affiliate of Susan G. Komen for the Cure. [3]

The former Eagles cheerleaders - who obviously have not lost a step or their all-American good looks - were rounded up for the fundraiser by the Susan G. Komen organization, including Janis Darlene Moore Hill, a former Eagles cheerleader. [4]

SWEDESBORO, NJ (CBS) - A funeral is scheduled for Friday morning for 52-year-old Janis Hill, the wife of longtime KYW Newsradio business anchor Vince Hill, who died late last week of complications from cancer surgery. [5]

Janis fought breast cancer for five years, enduring the frustrations of a disease that gives and takes away hope, but just won’t let go of many of its victims. [...] Janis was a Philadelphia Eagles “Liberty Belle,” as the cheerleaders were formerly called, and performed at the Superdome in New Orleans when the team went to Super Bowl XV in 1981. [4]

Janis Hill, 52, of Woolwich Township, a former Philadelphia Eagles cheerleader and a breast cancer survivor and advocate, died Thursday, Jan. 20, at Pennsylvania Hospital following surgery to remove two brain tumors. [2]

Elaine Grobman, Komen’s executive director in the Philadelphia area, says Janis Hill’s death breaks her heart, but notes that she was always reaching out to bring others into the fight. [5]

Described by Komen Philadelphia chapter executive director Elaine Grobman as compassionate, kind, and bright, Mrs. Hill volunteered her time to various Komen for the Cure events, including the survivors march. [3]

The coaching staff highlights the to-do list for Andy Reid, and he will put his plan into place, as we all expect, shortly after the Super Bowl ends, but there are other pieces happening behind the scenes. [6]

“She was doing fine after surgery, but suddenly took a turn for the worse,” said her husband, Vince Hill, business anchor for KYW Newsradio. [4]

“She has helped up raise over $200,000, her and the NFL alumni cheerleaders,” says Grobman, “but through her battling her breast cancer, she never stopped.” [...] I pray that Jesus will be with your husband and your children as you unite with our Heavenly Father. [5]

“No matter what obstacle in life came her way, she always handled it with dignity and courage, and with a smile on her face,” said Maggie Trush Hammond, of the NFL Alumni Philadelphia Chapter Cheerleaders. [4]
