dmt

If you don’t get enough in the first 30 seconds, smoking more will not put you into the far out visionary DMT state, but will only result in a more “ordinary” hallucinogenic state. [1]

The implications are incendiary: a natural source of DMT, perhaps the most powerful hallucinogen on the planet, which can be grown in anyone’s yard and extracted in their kitchen! [2]

DMT is found not only in several plants, but also in trace amounts in humans and other mammals, where it is originally derived from the essential amino acid tryptophan, and ultimately produced by the enzyme INMT during normal metabolism. [3]

DMT is produced in the human pineal gland which is correlated to the “3rd eye” or Ajna Chakra in the Indian spiritual system. [4]

Many cultures, indigenous and modern, ingest DMT as a psychedelic drug, in either extracted or synthesized forms. [3]

N,N-Dimethyltryptamine and 5-Methoxy-Dimethyltryptamine are naturally occurring psychedelics found in a variety of plants around the world, several of which are native to the Amazon region. [4]

If on an attempt, you don’t get enough, you must wait at least one hour before trying again (smoking multiple doses within the hour can result in you seeing the patterns but it is almost impossible to break through to the extreme states described below). [1]

Structurally, DMT is analogous to the neurotransmitter serotonin (5-HT), the hormone melatonin, and other psychedelic tryptamines, such as 5-MeO-DMT, bufotenin, and psilocin (the active metabolite of psilocybin). [3]

Accordingly, I redissolved the tar in alcohol and added a pinch of oregano as an inert smoking medium. [2]

The technique is to take the second hallucinogen orally just as you come out of the vision state. [1]

Original extraction by Mescalito Ted edited, expanded and illustrated by dimitri at deoxy.org. [...] Here for the first time, untainted by High Technology, Drug Dealer Capitalism, Cultural Unfamiliarity or Somatic Malaise, is the most potent entheogen imaginable freely available to anyone willing to take the trouble to grow and extract it. [2]

These alkaloids, which are usually found together in the plants, are also found in the human brain as neurotransmitters, as well as m our blood, urine, and spinal fluid. [4]

We had to undertake a long, intensive search to secure a supply of this marvelous drug in the smokeable, freebase form. [1]

Since the plant resembles your front lawn, any law banning it will be virtually unenforcable. [2]

plantar fasciitis

Monday, May 30th, 2011

Plantar fasciitis is irritation and swelling of the thick tissue on the bottom of the foot. [1]

Plantar fasciitis is characterized by a gnawing pain or discomfort in the heel that radiates along the sole of the foot. [2]

Plantar fasciitis (fashee-EYE-tiss) is the most common cause of pain on the bottom of the heel. [3]

Plantar Fasciitis, Heel Spurs, and all other forms of Heel Pain. [4]

Plantar fasciitis is a painful inflammatory process of the plantar fascia. [5]

Patients, and sometimes doctors often confuse the terms plantar fasciitis and heel spurs. [6]

Plantar Fasciitis is a painful condition caused by overuse of the plantar fascia or arch tendon of the foot. [7]

Plantar fasciitis (say “PLAN-ter fash-ee-EYE -tus”) is the most common cause of heel pain. [8]

Plantar fasciitis (PLAN-tur fas-e-I-tis) involves pain and inflammation of a thick band of tissue, called the plantar fascia, that runs across the bottom of your foot and connects your heel bone to your toes. [9]

Plantar fasciitis refers to the syndrome of inflammation of the band of tissue that runs from the heel along the arch of the foot; a heel spur is a hook of bone that can form on the heel bone (calcaneus). [6]

The Plantar Fascia is a broad, thick band of tissue that runs from under the heel to the front of the foot. [7]

Heel pain affects nearly 2 million Americans each year and can be responsible for mild discomfort or even debilitating pain. [4]

The pain is usually felt on the underside of the heel and is often most intense with the first steps of the day. [5]

The body’s natural response to injury is inflammation, which results in the heel pain and stiffness of plantar fasciitis. [3]

Then your heel or the bottom of your foot hurts when you stand or walk. [8]

Mike Adams, Dan Herron, DeVier Posey, Terrelle Pryor (pictured above) and Solomon Thomas will miss the first five games of the 2011 season and must repay money and benefits, the school said. [1]

Five Ohio State football players — including quarterback Terrelle Pryor — have been suspended five games next season for selling awards and accepting improper benefits. [2]

Ohio State puts its national championship hopes (and Terrelle Pryor’s Heisman hopes) on the line as a tough and hungry Miami team comes to the Horseshoe in a rematch of the 2003 national championship. [4]

Terrelle Pryor is a college football quarterback for the Ohio State Buckeyes. [5]

From a purely football standpoint, I still feel that Ohio State is clearly the better team. [3]

Miami fans remember the team running on the field to celebrate what they thought was a second consecutive national title before the call was made, while Ohio State fans remember Maurice Clarett scoring a touchdown in the next overtime to win the a national title for the Buckeyes. [4]

… Pryor announced on March 19, 2008, that he would attend The Ohio State University for the 2008 season. [5]

queen latifah

Monday, May 30th, 2011

One of the first female stars of hip-hop, Queen Latifah proved with her first album, All Hail the Queen (1989), that rap had room for feminism. [1]

Dana Elaine Owens (born March 18, 1970), better known by her stage name Queen Latifah, is an American rapper, actress and singer. [2]

After establishing herself as a rapper, she moved into acting, appearing in a small role in Spike Lee ’s movie Jungle Fever (1991, starring Wesley Snipes), and more significant roles in Set it Off (1996) and Living Out Loud (1998). [1]

Queen Latifah’s work in music, film and television has earned her a Golden Globe award, two Screen Actors Guild Awards, two Image Awards, a Grammy Award, six additional Grammy nominations, an Emmy Award nomination and an Academy Award nomination. [2]

Her latest television movie, Life Support, in which she was both the star and executive producer, is a true-life drama in which she plays a mother who overcomes an addiction to crack and becomes a positive role model and an AIDS activist in the black community. [3]

In 2003 she co-starred with Steve Martin in the feature film Bringing Down the House and she was nominated for an Oscar for her performance in Chicago (2002, starring Renee Zellweger). [1]

The film aired on HBO on March 10, 2007, and Latifah received rave reviews as well as an Emmy Award nomination, and won Golden Globe and SAG awards. [3]
