Happy Anniversary to one of the great teen comedies of all time, ‘Ferris Bueller’s Day Off.’ [1]

“Ferris Bueller” actor Ben Stein is suing ad agency Seiter & Miller, along with Kyocera Corp, for cutting ties with Stein due to his beliefs about global warming. [2]

Ferris Bueller is an American sitcom based on the 1986 John Hughes ’s film Ferris Bueller’s Day Off. [3]

The film follows high school senior Ferris Bueller (Matthew Broderick), who decides to skip school and spend the day in downtown Chicago. [4]

Though based on the film, the series was not a continuation of the film, rather, the series was set up to portray itself as being the “real life” situations upon which the film was based. [3]

In honor of today’s 25-year milestone, our pals at Moviefone had a chat with Edie McClurg — who played the hit film’s hilarious school secretary Grace — about working with Matthew Broderick, Jeffrey Jones and the late John Hughes. [1]

Based on the popular feature film "Ferris Bueller's Day Off," this half hour situation comedy followed the high school adventures of Ferris Bueller and his friends. [5]

In the pilot episode, Ferris (Schlatter) refers to the film and expresses his displeasure at Matthew Broderick portraying him, even going as far as destroying a life-size cardboard cutout of Broderick with a chainsaw. [3]

Ben and Frances Rose house will be for sale again after renovations. [6]

The lawsuit states that in February 2011, Grace Yao, of Seiter & Miller, contacted Stein’s agent, Marcia Hurwitz, informing her that there had been concerns raised over Stein’s beliefs about global warming and if they were “sufficiently conventional and politically correct for Kyocera.” [2]
